What We Believe

God The Father
We believe in God the Father, the one and living true God, eternal and infinite in power, wisdom, goodness, and righteousness. He created the Heavens and the Earth, and everything in them. He is known as Father, came as the Son, and lives in believers as the Holy Spirit. His character reveals perfect love for His creation.
Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-2, John 3:16-17, Acts 2:32-33, 1 John 4:16, Revelation 1:8
Jesus The Son
We believe Jesus is God in the flesh, and is the Son of God who came to Earth and was born of a virgin, lived a sinless and perfect life, died for our sins on the cross, and rose from the dead. His work on the cross is the ultimate sacrifice for the forgiveness of man's sins and now offers us the gift of eternal life. He’s still alive and changing lives today!
Luke 1:30-35, John 3:16-17, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Philippians 2:5-11, Colossians 2:9
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a comforter and guide for born again believers, He lives inside of us, we are the temple. He emboldens each believer to live a Godly life; He strengthens us in our weaknesses and struggles; He is the divine being God. The Holy Spirit is the promise of our gift of salvation through Jesus
John 14:26, John 16:8, Acts 2:38, Romans 8:26, Ephesians 1:13-14
Scripture
We believe the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments combined constitute the Holy Bible, and no books are to be added or removed. The Bible is God's word to mankind, it is God inspired and without error. It is the final authority on all matters of faith, truth, morality, and it shows us how to live like Jesus. It is applicable to our lives today and it transforms lives.
Psalm 19:7-11, Psalm 119:105, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12-14
Humanity
We believe we are made male and female in the image of God. We were designed to live forever in fellowship and harmony with God the Creator, but mankind rebelled against God and became lost in sin. We all deserve God's judgment because we have all sinned and fallen away from the glory of God, and we are unable to save ourselves.
Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23, Acts 4:12
Salvation
We believe that our sin has separated us from God. Jesus' death paid the price for our sin, and through his death the gift of grace and salvation is available to those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Jesus calls us to repent, confess Him as Lord and Savior, be baptized, and then walk with Him in faith.
Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Mark 16:16, Romans 6:1-5, Romans 10:9-10, Galatians 3:26-27, Ephesians 2:8-9
